Make an Impact Following Our Mission
EmpowerED Futures Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of school-aged youth living in poverty, primarily in the sixth ward part of Lancaster County.
We provide essential supplies, bookbags, and hygiene products to ensure every child has the resources they need to succeed academically and personally. Through community support and targeted assistance, we strive to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive and build brighter futures.
EmpowerED Futures Foundation was created from a place of personal experience and a deep desire to help others. As a single mother who raised children in poverty, I know all too well the struggles of meeting basic needs. There were days when my kids went to school without proper supplies, clothing, sneakers, or hygiene products, and it broke my heart to see them face these challenges.
I started this foundation because I don’t want any other family to go through what we did. EmpowerED Futures Foundation aims to support families in similar situations by providing the essentials that can make a real difference. We want every child to feel confident and ready to learn, no matter their circumstances.
Your donation will help us provide school supplies, essential items, and hygiene products to kids who need them, ensuring they have the tools to succeed.
Together, we can create a brighter future for these children and give them the opportunity to thrive. Thank you for considering joining us in this important mission.

Let's Talk Facts
In 2023, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, had a poverty rate of approximately 8.2%, with 44,195 residents living below the federal poverty level. This rate is lower than the state average of 11.8% and the national average of 12.6%. In Lancaster City specifically, the poverty rate was significantly higher at 18.7%, highlighting the substantial need for support in the area (Census Reporter)
These statistics underscore the importance of community-driven initiatives to support families in need, particularly those with children in school who struggle with basic necessities such as supplies, clothing, and hygiene products. By addressing these needs, we can help create a more equitable environment for all children to succeed.
